Kelly Winfrey's Testimony

I grew up in a loving family, I had great parents and we had fun together.. I accepted Jesus Christ into my life when I was in the 4th grade at vacation bible school.

My  parents supported us going to church, we prayed at the dinner table and even read the Bible at bed time.

Growing up I didn’t always make the right choices in high school. My senior year of high I attended Young Life and this became my church. We met three nights a week. Our leaders made an impression on me and they told us as seniors we needed to find a church home to attend. I found that church two years later. This is where my personal relationship with Jesus Christ became real.

I married my husband Mark in 1985 and shortly after we were married Mark attended Seminary and off we were to full time ministry. I have learned so much about faith over the years through my life experiences. Through the good times and the bad, God has always been there for me.

A few years ago I went through my deepest valley, but God was faithful and stood by me. Since then I have always said that, “Life is Tough, but God is faithful.” I learned so much during that painful time, and can now thank God for using it for His glory in my life. I know more about how Jesus felt and what he went through during his time on earth.

During this time in my life I met the ladies from Passionate Heart Ministries and I have been blessed. God has brought me up out of the miry clay and set my feet upon a rock. He has put a new song in my mouth in order to reach out to other women. I would love to pray with you sometime, so when we see each other at one of the events, let’s just pray together.
